The Clarens Golf Estate sits quietly in a valley with spectacular scenery and is just is 2½ hours by car from both Johannesburg and Durban. The estate features a country style 18-hole golf course. The area is rich with fossils, and the surrounding sandstone mountains, often dusted with snow during the winter months, are multi-coloured geological wonders.
During January 2013 Cart path construction around the clubhouse was completed. The 150m of paving was laid to complete the path from the 9th fairway to the 10th tee.
